This course provides a comprehensive overview of municipal bidding laws and procurement policies, offering essential knowledge for professionals involved in public sector purchasing. Students will explore the legal framework governing municipal bidding processes, including key statutes, regulations, and best practices. The course covers the entire procurement cycle, from drafting clear and effective bid specifications to evaluating bids and awarding contracts.
Case studies and real-world examples will be used to illustrate common challenges and strategies for ensuring compliance and transparency.
