Newly Appointed Manager Boot Camp (1-19-24 AND 1-22-24, Virtual)

$80.00This course is designed to help onboard newly appointed municipal managers. While the position and duties can vary drastically from one municipality to another, there are basic concepts and baseline knowledge needed to get your municipal management career off to a good start. Topics that will be covered during the course are, an introduction to the DCED Local Government Services, an overview of the various forms of local governments, council manager relationships / responsibilities, typical departments or services offered in a municipality, introduction to municipal finances, and more.
Course Schedule:
This course is scheduled for January 19th and January 22nd. This course will not be taking place on January 20th and 21st.
9 AM to 12 PM, BOTH days.
